Welcome to the Resilient Community Futures Research Network (RCFRN)

We are a diverse group of practitioners, academics, students, researchers and community knowledge keepers and leaders committed to transdisciplinary research and partnerships leading to building Resilient Community Futures.

We promote and practice inclusive, diverse, equitable, respectful and community science centered research

Our research partnerships focus on community dynamics, resource management and inform risk reduction and resilience building policies, and decision-making for individuals, communities, organizations, and governments

Land Acknowledgement

Thompson Rivers University (TRU) campuses are situated on the ancestral lands of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc and the T’exelc within Secwepemcúl’ecw, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Secwépemc. The rich tapestry of this land also encompasses the territories of the St’át’imc, Nlaka’pamux, Tŝilhqot’in, Nuxalk, and Dakelh.
